Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or accessing ODude Note (the "Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and End User License Agreement ("EULA"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Application.
2. License Grant
ODude grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the Application on Apple-branded iOS/iPadOS devices or compatible Android devices owned or controlled by you, strictly in accordance with these Terms and the Apple App Store Usage Rules.
3. Zero-Knowledge Cryptography & Passphrase Responsibility
ODude Note provides client-side encryption using XChaCha20-Poly1305. You understand and acknowledge that:
- Sole Responsibility: You are solely responsible for memorizing and maintaining the confidentiality of any passwords or lock names assigned to encrypted vaults.
- Zero-Knowledge: Because the application is mathematically zero-knowledge, ODude does not possess your decryption keys and cannot recover forgotten credentials or unreadable ciphertext.
4. Medical & Health Disclaimer
The health, vitals, blood pressure, glucose, temperature, weight, and menstrual tracking capabilities in ODude Note are provided strictly for informational and personal logging purposes. The Application does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or clinical care recommendations. Always seek the advice of a physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice because of information logged in this app.
5. ODude Note Pro Subscriptions & In-App Purchases
If you purchase a subscription to ODude Note Pro:
- Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID Account or Google Play Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
- Management & Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store Account Settings after purchase.
- Refunds: Refund requests are managed exclusively by Apple according to App Store terms.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ODUDE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF DATA, DEVICE DAMAGE, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION.
